The ‘Trek for Tomorrow’ hike marks a collaboration between charities Mindstep Foundation and Boys in Mind.

The event takes the opportunity to discuss male mental health and suicide prevention.

Encompassing unique views of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, the hike will take place along the Horseshoe Ridge Walk on September 9 this year.

Mindstep Foundation has reached close to quarter of a million pounds in fundraising for suicide prevention research, set up in memory of Max Davies, a Monmouth resident who took his own life in 2018.

Boys in Mind is a charity that works in partnership with children, young people and professionals to promote good mental health and prevent suicide, particularly among boys and young men.

The charity walk is an opportunity for the public to embark on a 10-mile hike while discussing mental health. The trek is free for anyone to join, although a minimum sponsorship is requested.
