The kettle is on and doors are open as a Mid Wales business group prepares to welcome the public for a charity coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Llandrindod Wells-based Marches Business Group will host its Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, September 26, from 10am to 3pm at Unit 33 on the Ddole Road Industrial Estate.

Staff are donating cakes for the event, while the company provides coffee, tea, and other treats. Members of the public are invited to drop in and enjoy a cuppa, with all proceeds going to Macmillan.

One of the organisers, Millie Nicholls said "We’re so excited to be hosting another Macmillan Coffee Morning at Marches. Last year we raised an amazing amount for this wonderful cause, all thanks to the support of our local community and staff. We can’t wait to do it all again with you this year!"

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s flagship fundraising event, supported by individuals, companies, and organisations across the UK. Since it began in 1990, the initiative has raised more than £310 million to help people living with cancer.

The Marches Business Group are a diverse collection of companies expanding through career development, capital investment and acquisitions.
