A motorcyclist remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving four vehicles on Sunday.

A van, a car and two motorbikes were involved in the collision which took place at the junction of the A470 with the A4215 between Libanus and RAC bends.

The rider of a Harley Davidson was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries meanwhile the rider of a Suzuki motorbike suffered minor injuries.

The police closed the road until 5pm following the accident at 2pm while they investigated the scene.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman today (Monday, March 25) said: "Police were called to the A470 between Libanus and Storey Arms at 2pm on Sunday, March 24 to a report of a collision involving four vehicles.

"A van, car and two motorbikes were involved in the collision, which occurred at an unclassified junction that leads to the A4215.
