Founded by a local veteran, the club was created to provide a dedicated, informal space for ex-service personnel and emergency services staff to meet, share stories, and enjoy mutual support.

The initiative addresses a growing need for those who have served in the military or emergency sectors to connect with others who share similar backgrounds and high-pressure life experiences.

The Cock Hotel, a historic and central venue in Bronllys, serves as the perfect host for the monthly gatherings.

Attendees can enjoy a warm environment, a hearty breakfast, and the unmistakable camaraderie shared by those who serve the public and the country.

The club is open to all veterans, serving personnel, blue light workers, and their families from Bronllys and the surrounding areas.

"Starting this breakfast club is about ensuring our local veterans and emergency personnel know they have a community right here on their doorstep," said the club's founder.

"The response from Melissa and Steve, and the team at The Cock Hotel has been fantastic. We want to create a relaxed environment where people can catch up, swap stories, and access a network of support if they need it."

The Bronllys Breakfast Club meets on the third Saturday of every month at 9.30am.

All generations of the military and emergency services community are welcome to attend.

"The Club is open to all veterans and is a warm, welcoming and non judgemental place. It was good to catch up with old friends and to make new - and I hope to attend again, in this important season which leads up to the annual Festival of Remembrance.
