Staff and students are delighted to be celebrating another year of exceptional results at Gwernyfed High School, reflecting the continued hard work and outstanding achievements of their pupils.

Once again, pupils have built upon the remarkable academic successes of recent years, as the school continues to go from strength to strength.

The number of students achieving A and A* grades has increased this year to past years.

A spokesperson for Gwernyfed High School said: “We are proud to report an increasing number of students achieving A and A* grades. Today, we come together with pupils, families, and staff to celebrate the dedication and effort that have led to these excellent outcomes.

“Many of our pupils will be returning to the Sixth Form at Gwernyfed High School, while others will be moving on to Colleges of Further Education or beginning workplace-based apprenticeship routes. We are proud of everyone today, no matter which pathway you are taking.

“Gwernyfed High School remains a very good school in an outstanding setting, where we know and support each of our pupils as individuals. If you would like to visit us for a tour before the new academic year begins in September, please get in touch. We still have a few places available for Year 7, and applications for Sixth Form entry this September remain open.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our parents, families, and the local community for their continued support — and most especially to our pupils and this incredible cohort, who make Gwernyfed High School the school we are.”
