Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were called out on Thursday, 20 April to assist a lady with a lower leg injury in the Glanaman area.

Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust paramedics and Mountain Rescue casualty carers treated the walkers leg on the scene.

She had been taking part on a well organised walk, when she had slipped, resulting in injury.

Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team called upon the help of Brecon Mountain Rescue Team as they assisted in stretchering the casualty off the hill to safety.

A spokesperson for Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team said: "Thanks to our neighbouring team, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team, who assisted us with the stretcher carry. We wish the lady a speedy recovery."
