Part time speed limit for Newbridge-on-Wye

THE Welsh Government is to consult on plans to introduce a 20mph speed limit on a stretch of the A470 trunk road at Newbridge-on-Wye, Powys close to the village school.

The area will begin at a point 250 metres south of the junction and extend 150m north and will operate on a part-time basis during school term time. At all other times the existing 30 mph speed limit will be in force.

During a period of 21 days from 28 January 2021, a copy of the proposed Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed on the Welsh Government’s website.

New windows and doors for Brecon property?

Brecon Beacons National Park is to consider granting listed building consent to an application for replace the front windows and doors of a property in Little Free Street, Brecon.

It is also being asked to consider granting retrospective consent to change the colour of the house and window sills.
