EVERY year Builth Wells Rotary holds a belated Christmas Party for the town’s senior citizens.
This was the 19th time the Rotary Club has held its Senior Citizen’s Party.
The event, held at Ysgol Calon Cymru, was attended by nearly 90 pensioners who were treated to a sherry reception followed by turkey dinner, trifle, cheese and biscuits, mince pies and a warm beverage.
Everything on the menu was served by members of the Rotary Club and part of the cost of the party was met thanks to a generous donation from the local Co-op.
Entertainment took the form of music from duo Les and Lesley, accompanied by vocalist Holly, and a raffle and bingo. Everyone went home with a gift.
Rotarian Ian Baxter-Wild said: “The day was a success, with everyone enjoying themselves, even the hard-worked ladies of the Rotary, who provided and served the meal.”
