A HERBALISTS is offering free consultations as she fears traditional remedies are increasingly only available to the rich.

Liz Sanders, who lives in Trecastle, near Sennybridge says she wants people to able to consult a herbalist in the same way they would their GP, without charge.

Herbal medicine uses extracts of plants with medicinal properties which might help with human conditions or diseases.

"Herbal medicine now seems to have become a treatment for the rich, when it used to be the poor man's medicine. I'm trying to reduce the cost," said Liz.
