POLICE are investigating an unexplained death after a man was found unconscious in Brecon in the early hours of this morning.

Large areas of the town centre have been sealed off.Dyfed Powys Police said the man was found unconscious in Lion Street at 1am on Sunday.

He was taken to hospital but later died. Police say the death is being treated as unexplained.

A blue tent has been erected near the Bethel Square shopping centre.
