Pontfaen YFC has celebrated another spectacular success after its annual Illuminated Charity Tractor & 4x4 Run, held on Tuesday, December 23, raised more than £10,000 for good causes.
The festive event saw participants deck out tractors and 4x4s with lights, tinsel, and seasonal decorations, creating a magical procession that delighted spectators lining the route from Brecon Livestock Market to Brecon High School. The club said the generosity and community spirit shown by both drivers and onlookers captured the very best of the Christmas season.
Darren and Deri Allsop were awarded the prize for Best Illuminated Vehicle, impressing both judges and crowds with their eye-catching display.

The money raised will benefit Wales Air Ambulance and The Brain Tumour Charity, with further £500 donations earmarked for paediatric wards at Hereford, Carmarthen, and Merthyr Tydfil Hospitals, as well as Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity. A portion of the funds will also support the ongoing work of Pontfaen YFC within the local community.
