Wyeside Arts Centre is excited to announce it is reopening this summer on Friday, August 6.
The Builth Wells arts venue will be provisionally be opening its doors for three days a week over the summer, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Wyeside will be showing two films a week, one for adults and one for families. The Wyeside team is currently in the process of finalizing their schedule which will be announced in the coming weeks online.
To keep their customers safe, Wyeside will only be taking advanced bookings, so customers will need to plan ahead for their cinema trips. Tickets can be booked 24 hours a day via their website www.wyeside.co.uk or over the phone during opening hours 01982 552 555 2pm-9pm Friday to Sunday (starting August 6 2021).
Wyeside also has a wide variety of live shows scheduled kicking in October with The Rheingans Sisters, a folk duo from the Peak District. The sisters are also members of Lady Maisery who performed at Wyeside previously.
As well as live music, they also have stand up comedy next year from Mark Watson and Gary Delaney. All tickets for these events and more, are available now from the website.
Wyeside have also made some changes to their Board of Trustees, recently appointing a new Chair, Frank Banks. Frank will replace Maureen Mackenzie, who has served as head of the board for many years and has been a pleasure to work with. Maureen will continue to serve Wyeside as a trustee.
Wyeside are also pleased to welcome Jeremy Andrews, Lewis Roberts and Martha Wooldridge as new trustees.
