Brecon Town Council is inviting local businesses and organisations to put their name to a scheme aimed at keeping the town clean and dog-friendly.

The council has reopened its annual sponsorship opportunity for dog waste bag dispensers, offering firms the chance to sponsor a dispenser for £100 from April 1. In return, the sponsor’s name and logo will be displayed on the unit for a year.

The scheme is designed to encourage responsible dog ownership while helping to maintain public spaces across the town. Dispensers are used by dog walkers who may have forgotten bags, reducing the likelihood of waste being left behind.
