William Powell has lost his Mid and West Wales regional seat, as Neil Hamilton became one of seven new Ukip AMs.
Mr Hamilton, who lost his seat as a Conservative MP in the 1997 general election, Labour’s Eluned Morgan and Joyce Watson and Plaid Cymru’s Simon Thomas are the four who will now represent the region.
Mr Powell, who is also a Powys County Councillor for Talgarth, had been the Welsh Liberal Democrat AM for Mid & West Wales since 2011, speaking for the party on the environment, farming and the rural economy.
