POWYS County Council is holding its first full council meeting of the year today at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells.
The meeting is being webcast on the council’s website from 10.30am when the meeting will open with questions from the public on waste and recycling and the troubled children’s services department.
An improvement plan for children’s services will also be presented to the council while among the motions to be considered are a call for a rethink, after 12 months, on the closure of youth centres and that the council support making St David’s Day a national holiday.
