Radnor Hills, in Knighton, launched new products at an expo that attracted record crowds and generated more than £3 million in sales.
New for 2026, Radnor Hills has launched its Radnor Springs line, featuring sparkling spring water flavours of strawberry and raspberry, mango and passionfruit, and black cherry and blackcurrant.
Thousands of buyers and suppliers from across the UK descended on Venue Cymru in Llandudno for Harlech Foodservice’s annual two-day event. Around 2,500 registrations were recorded with more than 1,200 businesses attending and 117 suppliers exhibiting – from global food giants to top producers. The bumper turnout comes as Harlech Foodservice, which has sites in Telford, Cricieth, Chester, Carmarthen and Aberbargoed, continues a period of rapid expansion, reporting sales growth of more than 30 per cent.
Marketing executive, Shannon Clarke, and key account manager Molly Breakwell said the firm’s long-standing relationship with Harlech Foodservice was proving hugely successful.
Molly said: “We have been at Harlech’s expo for many years and always enjoy it; it is a great location. We partnered up with Harlech to sponsor their Buyers’ Lounge this year because they are a good partner for us.
“We supply them with a wide range of products, such as our juices, which go into some of their primary schools. We are launching a few new products this year, and it is nice to speak to the customers about those.
“We have got Radnor Spring, which is a functional drink and very on-trend at the moment. They have added vitamins, low sugar and low calories, so they are targeted towards the higher education sites.
“And we have Radnor Hydrate, which is a school-compliant product and approved to go into healthcare settings, so it is really versatile.”
Trade customers included buyers from the public and private healthcare and education sectors, along with the tourism and hospitality industry.
