THERE were a record number of primary school entrants in this year’s Cogurdd cookery competition at Ysgol Trefonnen Church in Wales Primary School at Llandrindod Wells.
The judges – Tess Davies, Eirlys Hodges and Clarice Mainwaring – had the task of finding one overall winner from 18 entries to go through to the next round in April. The young people had to prepare a crunchy Asian salad and Annabelle Ealey-Fitzgerald was judged the best.
The pupils involved were Sioned Harris, Tom Evans, Demi-Lee Percy, Matti James, Ruby Owen, Seren Price, Jazmine Jones, Rhys Smith, Annabelle Ealey-Fitzgerald, Rhys Everett, Edie Leafe, Caitlin Hurst, Luke Millington, Jessica Pembridge, Evelyn Gray, Thirza Currie, Kasey Scott-Robinson and Gaian Hardiman.
