A guided walking business has marked four years in operation with a relaunch event in Bannau Brycheiniog.

Sarah Price Hiking, founded in Hay-on-Wye and now operating across Herefordshire and Bannau Brycheiniog, welcomed 55 guests to Llangasty Village Hall last weekend, including walkers, collaborators and representatives from regional tourism organisations.

The event began with a three-mile circular walk overlooking Llangorse Lake. Participants followed an ancient Roman road, now a public footpath, climbing to a 340-metre hill topped by an Iron Age hill fort, with views across the Beacons and towards the Black Mountains.

Julie Bell from Brecon Beacons Tourism supported the walk as back-marker and official photographer.

After the walk, guests returned to the village hall for refreshments and a presentation, which included the unveiling of a redesigned website and reflections on the business’s growth since it launched four years ago.

Founder Sarah Price took the opportunity to reflect on the past four years, acknowledging the support of collaborators, walkers, and businesses that have helped grow her business from a local venture in Hay-on-Wye to a wider enterprise.

Ms Price said the relaunch marked a milestone for the company, which now offers a broader range of guided walks and wellbeing-focused events. Around half of its work involves partnerships with charities, tourism bodies and hospitality businesses.

Among those attending were Stuart from the Brecon Mountain Railway, collaborating on self-guided walking routes, and Emily, co-leader of the “Wild Walk & Dip” events. New branded merchandise, including beanies and T-shirts, was also available for guests.

Sarah Price said: "Four years in, this relaunch feels like a natural evolution - a chance to celebrate the community, partnerships, and experiences that have shaped Sarah Price Hiking. I’m excited for the next chapter, with more walks, wellbeing events, and opportunities for people to connect with the landscape and each other."
