LYN Allbutt showed anything but a clean pair of heels after running across the width of Wales - bare foot. The 47-year-old self-employed gardener trained herself in just six months to be able to run the 51 miles across the central belt of Wales on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, to promote the 'physical and mental benefits' of spending time bare-footed. Lyn, from Crickhowell who has hosted BBC Wales and Sky TV gardening shows, said: "It was the most incredible journey."
