A RHAYADER man is planning to use pedal power to raise funds for charity in memory of his friends and family.

Chris Jones and his 'Jolly Boys' are gearing up for their Road to Rouen challenge - a 180 mile bike ride from Caen to Rouen - to raise funds for the Tenovus cancer charity.

Welsh Assembly Government worker Chris will be joined by friends Tim Williams, Graeme Parker and Paul Newman for the epic ride, which begins when the group sail from Portsmouth to Caen on Friday, April 29.
