THE Powys Samaritans popular shop was not only very busy during this year’s Llandrindod Victorian Week but once again won the first prize for its window display.

This year the featured themes were Paddington Bear and Sherlock Holmes to delight young and older customers alike.

This success during the popular Victorian Festival followed another busy week for the Powys Samaritans in Llandrindod Wells at the Royal Welsh Show when branch members on their ‘Talk to Us’ stand were delighted to welcome a steady flow of visitors keen to find out more about the 24/7 helpline (Freecall 116 123)and also about volunteering to become a Samaritan.
