AN internationally renowned sheep expert is due to meet farmers in Powys as part of a lambing roadshow.

John Vipond of the Scottish Agricultural College will give an update on research developments offering practical advantages for livestock farmers as well as give an in depth insight into issues around lamb survival and flock performance.

The Lambing Focus Roadshows are organised by Farming Connect and local events will be held at the Lion Hotel, Builth Wells on Monday, January 30 at 7.30pm with an open day at Llysun, Llanerfyl, Welshpool from 11.30am on Tuesday, January 31.
