At the Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre in Libanus, near Brecon, a large crowd had gathered to look as the Moon covered 90 per cent of surface of the Sun.

With official safety advice not to look at the Sun many used special glasses or protected telescopes and cameras to view the phenomena while others turned their back to the sun and safely projected the image.
