Lingen Stitchers are holding an exhibition of their sewing work over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The exhibition will take place on Saturday, 23 August 10am to 5pm and Sunday, 24 August 10am to 4pm, in Lingen Village Hall, SY7 0DY.

Refreshments are available, with sales tables including Sandra’s Sewing Shop, Knighton.

There is a raffle with a large patchwork quilt, a smaller quilt, household hamper, cushions and other prizes.

Entry to the Exhibition is free, with disabled access and parking at the Hall, plus overflow parking by Lingen Church.

A charitable donation from profits will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This is Lingen Stitchers’ first Exhibition since 2023, so there will be plenty to see.

Lingen Stitchers is a local needlecraft group that meets in Lingen Village Hall on the first, third and fifth Mondays during term time, between 10am and 3pm, using visiting and in-house tutors. New members are always welcome – contact Secretary Maggie Flanders on 01547 510040 for further information.
