A PARENTS' action group says it has identified overwhelming support for a Welsh medium school amongst parents in South Powys.
Local branches of national campaign group RhAG, South Powys Parents for Welsh Medium Education say 81 per cent of parents they surveyed are in favour of the establishment of designated Welsh medium secondary school in the area.
The group, which has local branches in Brecon and Sennybridge and another in Builth Wells, sent questionnaires to parents of children in Welsh medium primary schools and Welsh language streams at secondary schools.
