A couple from Talybont-on-Usk have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a generous charitable gesture.
Glasnant and Linda Morgan recently held a party to celebrate 50 years of marriage. They made it clear to their guests, however, that it was their presence not presents that were wanted and instead received donations to local charities.
The Royal Voluntary Service Dementia Memory Lane Group that meets on a Tuesday morning at Kensington, Brecon was a fortunate recipient.
Linda and Glasnant were able to come to a meeting and present the cheque to Anna Millett, the service coordinator.
It was a happy sing-a-long morning with Mike Coper singing and Glasnant able to join him.
