A dining pub just outside Brecon has been crowned the UK’s top hidden gem dining destination in a new list.
A new national ranking by Kia has named The Felin Fach Griffin as the best rural restaurant with food worth travelling for. The list highlights restaurants off the beaten path that score highly on reviews, sustainability, electric vehicle accessibility, parking, and scenic appeal.
The Felin Fach Griffin tops the list thanks to its locally sourced, seasonal menus that celebrate the best of Welsh produce. From slow-cooked lamb to garden-grown vegetables, the food is refined and rooted in strong sustainability credentials. This excellent food is aaired with the inn’s cosy rural charm. Chapters Restaurant in Hay-on-Wye also came in at number five on the UK-wide list.
