SEVERAL thousand Powys residents turned out at Glanusk Park on Friday, April 27 as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee tour of the UK to commemorate her 60 years on the throne.

The entrance to Glanusk Park estate was a sea of red, white and blue flags as Her Majesty arrived early afternoon with her husband the Duke of Edinburgh in matching royal Range Rovers for the 'Diamonds in the Park' event hosted by Lord Lieutenant of Powys, the Honourable Shan Legge Bourke.
