The Bracken Trust Cancer Support Centre is a registered charity based in Llandrindod Wells, with hubs in Knighton, Llanwrtyd Wells and Llanidloes.

The Trust supports anyone affected by cancer (including those who have experienced a bereavement) in the mid Wales and border areas. We provide information, advice, complementary therapies, counselling, and a range of activities which encourage people to manage their condition and maintain an excellent quality of life (free of charge). We also provide nurse support to anyone waiting test results.

We are currently supporting approximately 350 patients.

You can self-refer/ be referred by a friend or family member or alternatively by a health professional.

We are delighted to confirm that from Monday, July 4 2022, our drop–in service was reinstated at the Centre; however, the appointment system will continue for the time being at our hubs. This means you can pop into the centre for a chat / cup of tea or coffee anytime between 9am and 5pm on Monday to Friday.
