A MARRIED Radnorshire couple killed in a head-on motorcycle crash have been described as 'huge characters' who will be greatly missed in their hometown.

Husband and wife Kevin and Carol Byrne, of Rhayader, died when their motorcycle was involved in a lunch-time collision with a car near Shrewsbury on Sunday, April 21.

Mr Byrne, who was 48, was riding the bike and his 49-year-old wife was his pillion passenger.
