Hay Town Council is exploring whether there is community support for creating a Pump Track or Bike Park in Hay-on-Wye.

The town council are searching for cyclists, parents, young people and residents to take part in their online survey.

Nearby town Builth Wells has its own pump truck on The Groe.

A pump track can provide: A safe place to ride and develop cycling skills, a fun space for children, teenagers and families, opportunities to encourage healthy, active lifestyles, and a valuable recreational facility for local people and visitors.

A spokesperson for Hay Town Council Communications said: “Whether you're a cyclist, parent, young person, walker, or resident, we'd really like to hear your views. Your feedback will help us understand if this is something the community wants and how it could best work for everyone.

“Your views matter and will help shape future recreation opportunities in Hay-on-Wye.”
