The family of a 19-year-old man killed in a collision on the A470 at Storey Arms have paid tribute to their “beautiful son”.

Jordan Ingram died after his black Mini Cooper was involved in a single vehicle collision at around 10.30pm on Saturday, 5 December.

A statement from his mother, Nikki, reads: “Paul Ingram and myself, Nikki Ingram, record the tragic death of our beautiful son Jordan at the Storey Arms on the 5 December 2020 following a road traffic collision.

“May Jordan rest in peace.

“We would like to thank Dyfed-Powys Police for their help during this situation. They have been wonderful.”

Jordan was a talented footballer, who played for Brecon Northcote.

Gareth Pegg, chairperson of Brecon Northcote and Town, said: “Family, friends and club are devastated at the news of Jordan’s passing.

“Jordan was a great person, a kind, gentle soul.

“Real popular lad with his team mates at Brecon Town, Brecon Northcote and with Hay St Mary’s.

“Not to mention a fantastic footballer.

“We’re blown away by the tributes left for Jordan. But more importantly the support that everyone is offering each other at this time.

“The tributes show just how much Jordan was loved.

“And we’ll continue that bond to honour and always remember Jordan. Thanks everybody for the courage to pay your respects to Jordan and thank you to the players who supported each other and managed to continue to train and play this week in trying times.

“Our thoughts are with Jordan’s family and friends at this difficult time. Our door is always open.
