A FARMER has thanked an owl sanctuary that nursed a stricken Tawny Owl she found back to health.

Annie Lewis, of Lower Pontgwilym, Brecon, this week saw the bird released back into the wild.

It was nursed back to full health, after being discovered in a poor condition in March, at the Festival Park Owl Sanctuary in Ebbw Vale.
