UK a cappella champions, The Inner Voices will be taking to the stage at Wyeside Arts Centre on February 7 as part of their Harmonies Across Wales tour.

Dubbed “the real-life Pitch Perfect”, the Cardiff-based group gained national recognition in 2024 after winning the UK Open A Cappella competition. They recently featured singing on in Rowan Atkinson’s new Netflix series Man vs Baby, and also garnered 15 million views on their recent cover of Carol of the Bells.

“Wales is known as the ‘Land of Song’, and we want to really explore and celebrate that heritage in a fun, accessible way,” said James Taylor, co-founder of the Inner Voices.

Their tour setlist will include classic ballads, pop hits, and traditional folk songs from a range of genres and eras in both English and Welsh.

“A cappella and vocal harmony are iconic parts of the Welsh and Celtic cultures that influence our group so integrally” added Charlie Pittaway, who also co-leads The Inner Voices.

The Inner Voices: Harmonies Across Wales is a fully live concert celebrating Wales’ rich culture of vocal harmony with a modern a cappella twist. As UK A Cappella champions, The Inner Voices have made a name for themselves with their powerful harmonies and dynamic mix of contemporary pop, emotive ballads and traditional folk songs, offering a truly one-of-a-kind musical experience.

The A Cappella group’s voices are included in the end credits of the final episode of Netflix’s Man vs Baby series, with original music from Lorne Balfe and vocal arrangement by the group’s music directors.
