A weather warning for spells of heavy rain is in place across most of Powys.

The Met Office’s yellow weather warning - the least severe - covers most of Brecon and Radnorshire until 3pm tomorrow (Friday, October 29).

Crickhowell is only just covered by the weather warning which has been in force since 6am today, and it just misses areas like Presteigne, Kington and Knighton.

The Met Office has warned drivers to expect poor driving conditions as a result of spray and flooding resulting in delays on the roads.

The UK’s national weather service also warned: "Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely. Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer."

Traffic Wales has also taken to its social media accounts to warn motorists or others who rely on road-based transport to "plan ahead" with their travel while the yellow weather warning is in place.
