Former Scarlets and Wales Hooker, Ken Jones will open this year’s Brecon Beacons Food Festival.
The food festival will go ahead on Saturday, 3 October, between 9.30am and 4.30pm in Brecon Market Hall.
With the announcement that he will be opening the food festival. The rugby star said: “Prynhawn da! For those who don't know me, they call me 'The Sheriff.'
“And as the Sheriff is in town on October 3, I am laying down the law: nobody leaves Brecon Market Hall hungry!
“Jokes aside, supporting Welsh agriculture and local food businesses is something incredibly close to my heart. When we back our local farmers and producers, we keep our Welsh communities thriving.
“There is so much passion packed into every exhibitor booked in. Have a wonderful day, sample everything you can, and let's get this festival started.”
There are now under 45 days to go until the festival 29th Brecon Beacons Food Festival begins, so make sure to mark it in your calendars!
The free to enter annual event brings the best food and drink producers from across Bannau Brycheiniog together with over 60 exhibitors showcasing their goods on the day.
