RADNOR YFC recently held their second weekend of Public Speaking competitions at the FUW Building, Llanelwedd starting with the Senior After Dinner Speaking.
Teams from across the county entertained supporters with their lively and interesting speeches with Elliot Morris, Robbie Savage and Bethan Watson,Radnor Valley YFC, taking the overall trophy and Ted Davies,Presteigne YFC, winning the trophy for best speaker. Next day it was time for the Juniors to show off their public speaking skills with Joanna Thomas, Rhian Hughes and Will Lewis, Cantal YFC clinching the title for the Junior Public Speaking.
The Intermediate Brainstrust was next up and Edw Valley YFC once again came out on
top with Mark Nixon, Rebecca Williams, Eli Hulin Taylor and Amy Hammonds claiming top
honours and Mark Nixon, Edw Valley YFC winning the trophy for best speaker. Later, in the day came the Just A Minute competition with Presteigne YFC winning the titles with a team consisting of Elizabeth Preston, Ted Davies, Ben Chilman and Jamie Price.
