RADNORSHIRE Men’s Premier League squad travelled to play Llanelli last Saturday in the Club Championships.
Without their star bowler Robert Weale, who is at present playing in the Hong Kong Pairs Classic they eventually lost by 137 to 107 shots.
They did win on two rinks to at least gain four points, those were the fours of David Weale and captain Luke Harwood. The other rinks including that of Gareth Wills who was playing skip instead of Robert, all lost. The most disappointed visiting skip must have been Sam Roff who lost a six on the last end after leading 16—15 on the penultimate end.
On Sunday Radnorshire Men’s side played at Rhondda and were only successful on one rink that of Sam Roff, who won 20 shots to 12. The overall totals being Radnorshire 50 Rhondda 67.
This Saturday Radnorshire Men’s Premier League side are again on their travels when they play at Port Talbot in the Club Championships, with six rinks starting at 2pm. Whilst on Sunday the Men’s Team Championship squad are at home to Coed Duon, commencing at 2pm.
