JOSH Price scored all four goals as Builth Wells moved into the third round of the Central Wales Challenge Cup with a 4-2 home success over local rivals, Penybont.

Price fired Builth ahead with a good strike but Jake Bufton put Penybont back on level terms. Price immediately regained Builth’s lead and the second half was a real battle.

Price completed his hat-trick before Rob Hughes netted a worldie for the visitors to raise their hopes.

Man of the Match, Josh price however took his personal tally to four to clinch a place in the next round for Builth whose 16-year-old debutant, Jack Hughes had an excellent game.

Newbridge are also through after a long trip to West Wales and a 2-0 win at Cilgerran Rovers.

Aeron Powell scored both goals in the first half, the first from the penalty spot after being brought down and the second when he broke through the Cilgeran defence to slot home. Both sides had chances after the break but Newbridge were comfortable winners.

Brecon Northcote are however out of the competition following a 2-1 defeat at home against Llanfyllin Town despite taking the lead through Asim Magar.
