RADNOR Valley are in contention for a top two finish in the Spar Mid wales League second division after a 5-0 home success against Bont.
With Kerry and Aberystwyth Unjversity both stuttering in recent weeks, Radnor know if they can win their remaining three games they are certain to finish second to Champions Berriew.
On Saturday Joe Price and Jack Price each scored twice with Callum Matthews also on target against a Bont side who will not be playing in the Spar League next season.
And Radnor know it is now two wins from their last two after a huge 1-0 win at Kerry on Monday night with Joe Price grabbing the only goal with a cracking free-kick.
Newbridge did Radnor a big favour with a 3-1 victory over Aberystwyth University. Ryan Lawrence gave Newbridge an interval lead and Ollie Woods scored twice in the second half before Niall Jones reduced the deficit from the penalty spot.
