RADNOR Valley hold the East Radnor bragging rights after knocking local rivals, Presteigne out of the Central Wales Challenge Cup with a 3-1 away success.
Oliver Jones scored twice and Callum Matthews was also on target for Radnor against his former side with Josh Gardner replying for Presteigne.
Newbridge bowed out beaten 5-3 at home after extra-time by Forden United. Ollie Woods struck twice for The Villagers and Lyndon Jones got their other goal with Max Mclaughlin completing a hat-trick and Lewis Sim scoring twice for Montgomery Amateur League side, Forden.
Brecon Northcote, the only Mid Wales League (South) team to enter the competition, also made an early exit, beaten 5-2 at home by Llanilar. Joel Evans and Jack Evans scored for Northcote but Borislav Tryanov (2), Huw Bonner, Garmon Nutting and Owain Roberts-Young saw the Aberystwyth and District League side progress.
