DAFYDD Carruthers scored on his debut but it could not prevent Rhayader Town falling to a 6-3 home defeat at the hands of Mid Wales rivals, Guilsfield in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Rhayader remain in relegation trouble and are now adrift of the remainder of the table along with rock bottom Caersws who were beaten 1-0 by Llanfair United in the other Mid Wales derby with James Davies getting the all important goal for Rhys Stephens’ side.
