THERE is a reduced fixture programme in the MMP Mid Wales League this weekend but in the Watson Financial Mid Wales League (South) league leaders Brecon Corries are on their travels.

The free-scoring Corries who have scored 46 goals in five games, and conceded just one, are away to Knighton Town Reserves on Saturday

In he MMP Division 1 only Hay St Mary’s and Builth Wells are in action. Hay travel to Carno while Builth face second placed Welshpool Town.

In Divison Two strugglers Knighton Town, who have yet to pick up any points, travel to Abermule while Presteigne visit Borth.

In the only midweek action Llandrindod (Reserves) beat Presteigne St Andrews (Reserves) 4-1 at the Broadway on Wednesday night with Tom Evans and Jason Coles goals adding to a Ryan Sims brace for the home side.
