RADNOR Ladies Hockey Club recently held their annual dinner at Builth Wells Rugby Club, with this year’s dinner being extra special as the club celebrated its 25 year anniversary.
The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all as a combination of past and present players and associates reminisced on 25 years of the club, with club kits, photographs and newspaper cuttings on display.
Speeches were given by founder members Sandra Hodnett and Heather Pugh, club chairman Anne Smith and event organiser Lindsay Jones. 2015/16 captain Kirsty Prosser presented the following awards for the 2015/16 season:- Radnor Ladies Badgers Player of the Year 2015/16: Ffion Pugh; Radnor Ladies Badgers Most Improved Player of the Year 2015/16: Esme Doherty; Radnor Ladies Player of the Year 2015/16: jointly awarded to Anwen Evans, Kirsty Prosser, Gwen Samuel & Hayley Price; Radnor Ladies Captains Player of the Year 2015/16: Elin Wozencraft; Radnor Ladies Top Goal Scorer 2015/16: jointly awarded to Gwen Samuel, Hayley Price, & Llinos Samuel; Rachel Davies Memorial Award 2015/16: Elin Wozencraft.
