TABLE tennis fans will be on the edge of their seats tomorrow when Brecon’s Rob Davies goes for gold in the Men’s singles class one final.

Rob has won his four previous games with a 3-2 win over Switzerland’s Silvio Keller, another 3-2 win over Italy’s Andrea Borgato before going on to beat France’s Jean-Francois Ducay 3-0 in the quarter-final to bag a place in the semis.

He then convincingly beat Hungary’s Endre Major in the semi-final to book his place in the final.

Rob will be back in action in the final at 11.45am tomorrow, Tuesday, against Japan’s Young Dae Joo and is guaranteed a medal, whether it be gold or silver.
