BUILTH Wells RFC U14s have secured their place in the Blues Cup semi-final by knocking out Pentyrch RFC.
Travelling down the A470 on Tuesday night for their first ever evening kick-off, the Young Bulls knocked out the South Wales high-fliers with a convincing 31-0 away win.
Building on their successes of the last two seasons, in which they reached the quarter-final stage, Builth U14s have now booked their place in the last four and are eagerly awaiting the semi-final draw.
Conditions were difficult on the night with strong winds and cold temperatures, but the Builth side dug in hard and scored five beautifully-crafted team tries and slotted over three impressive conversions.
They also took immense pride in keeping a clean sheet with an outstanding defensive effort.
