Llandovery U16s 33 Crymych U16s 34 .
IN a wonderfully entertaining Scarlets Region U16 Cup Final which reflected huge credit on both clubs the Pembrokeshire champions beat their Carmarthenshire rivals with the very last kick of the game

Five minutes into injury time Llandovery had sneaked ahead 33-27 with a try from full back Harri Doel but Crymych hit back immediately with a fine try from their star back and centre Alex Varney to leave fly half Jac Davies knock over the crucial winning conversion.
The standard of play was of a quality every bit as impressive as the verve and enthusiasm of all the players.
There was absolutely nothing between the two sides who shared 10 tries, ran, passed and tackled with inexpendable gusto to confirm the excellence of the coaching at both West Walian clubs.
"A brilliant game," said Scarlets Academy Manager Kevin George, "which gives great encouragement to what we are doing in the region and confirms that there is plenty of local talent out west."
Crymych had two key players in the swift, straight running Varney – son of former Neath flanker Adrian Varney - and international No 8 Gethin Davies whose contribution to the winning side was immense.
Davies made some thundering runs - one of all 70 yards - to make a try for wing Hedd James and it often took some last ditch Llandovery tackling to keep him in check.
Llandovery, too, had class in positions notably at full back where Doel conjured a thrilling late try and at flanker where the 14 year old Dylan Jones was forever involved.
Crymych were out of the blocks very fast and went 13-0 with tries from lock Guto Edwards and James plus a penalty from fly half Davies.
But despite a yellow card for a high tackle by wing Harri Thomas, the young Drovers came back with tries from Jones and Doel and then took a 19-13 interval lead thanks to a grand 50 metre solo effort from scrum half Dafydd Land.
Back and for went both play and try scoring with a Varney break making a converted try for scrum half Iwan Toft before lock Tomos Raymond crashed back under the posts for Llandovery.
Varney recovered the lead for Crymych , Doel squeezed Llandovery back in front before Man of the Match Varney got his last gasp touchdown to give Jac Davies his moment of glory.
