A 24-hour cycling challenge around Llangors Lake will take place next week in memory of Gareth Evans.

From 6pm on Wednesday, June 17, to 6pm on Thursday, June 18, Izaak Duffy will be cycling continuously around the lake loop to raise money for South Powys Mind.

The route is around 10 miles per lap, with support based at Llangors Village Hall providing food, drinks and encouragement throughout.

Anyone is invited to join in for as many laps as they like.

Around £1,200 has already been raised towards a £2,400 target.

The challenge will run through the night and finish at 6pm on Thursday, when supporters will gather for a small celebration.
