Police are appealing for information after an attempted break-in at a bank in Newtown.

Dyfed-Powys Police received a report at around 8:30am on Thursday, September 3, that an attempt had been made to gain entry to the NatWest bank on Broad Street.

Damage was caused to the entrance doors during the attempt.

Officers have carried out other lines of enquiry and are now asking the public for information which could assist their investigation.
