Two people were seriously injured in a collision on the A470 yesterday morning (Monday, 6 July).

A van and a car collided between Bronllys and Felinfach at around 8.45am.

Two people were seriously injured, with one of them being airlifted to hospital and another being driven to hospital by land ambulance.

Another was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered and reopened at around 12.50pm.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers attended to a report of a collision involving a van and a car on the A470 between Bronllys and Felinfach, at around 8.45am on Monday 6 July.

“Two people were seriously injured and taken to hospital, one via air ambulance and one by land ambulance. Another was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

“The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered and reopened at around 12.50pm.”
